Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
