Juventus Name Previous Italy Boss Luciano Spalletti

The Serie A powerhouse have chosen ex- Azzurri head coach Spalletti to lead the team for the remainder of the campaign.

The experienced coach takes over from his predecessor, who was sacked post the Lazio setback recently.

Tudor arrived at the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but exited following a seven-month stint at the end of an eight-match winless run.

Spalletti led Napoli to the Serie A title in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.

He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 but were eliminated in the round of 16 by Switzerland.

However, Spalletti was sacked by Italy in June following a loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying, as Italy faced the possibility of not making a third World Cup in a row.

Spalletti's managerial career includes Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Serie A and won the Russian Premier League twice with Zenit St Petersburg.

Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus in the midweek 3-1 triumph over Udinese placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.

In the Champions League, they sit 25th in the league phase, with one loss and two draws in their first three games.
