'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year deal he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the maiden significant trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he previously was, and would seriously contemplate lengthening his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."

Future Prospects

  • Ongoing success with Bayern Munich remains Kane's main focus
  • The chance of a Premier League return has considerably decreased
  • New contract negotiations could begin in the coming future
  • Kane's outstanding goal-scoring form continues to amaze
